Unfortunately, but not surprisingly, NSR2018 has been cancelled due to the horrendous weather ocnditions currently affecting the majority of the UK.

Hello, all the Countries of the World! We’ve been wondering if maybe we should have switched themes and had Christmas again?!
We’re afraid we’ve got some bad news…
We’re really, hugely sorry to have to announce that we’re going to have to cancel this year’s NSR.
The Beast from the East has got us in it’s grip, and while the forecast is for an improvement over the weekend, we’re taking advice on whether it’s safe for those of you from far-flung corners of the UK to travel. With weather warnings still in place until Saturday lunchtime, we don’t think it’s safe to ask you all to risk your necks getting to Nottingham. We’ve always loved the fact that some of you will travel so many hours to come and Rodeo with us, but there is just too much risk this year.
We don’t want to have to run a depleted, diminished event while simultaneously worrying that half our competitors are stuck in drifts up to their eyeballs on the way in. Similarly, we don’t want those that make it to HPP to get hypothermia on the course and on the campsite, and we especially don’t want our lovely Safety team and volunteers frozen into living statues on the bank.
We’ve hugely appreciated all the support from you guys, from all our sponsors, from River Legacy, and from LUUCC, who really are the driving force behind the event.
Please hold off messaging the page about refunds just for now – we will get info to you all as soon as we’ve sorted the administrative mess that cancelling an event creates. We’ll get back to you all as soon as humanly possible, given that one of the Rodeo Bosses is currently snowed in somewhere in the Yorkshire Dales and the Treasurer can’t get out of her front door.
